Best place to visit

One of my favorite places to visit this time of the year is historic Gatlinburg, TN

The trees there are most wonderful hues of orange, yellow, and red. Couple this with the magnificent sunsets in the area and you're looking at one of the most beautiful places on earth.

There are lots of things to do when you're in the Gatlinburg area. There is a ski lift that you can take up the side of the mountain (I'm too chicken to go on it, because it looks rickety) but if you're a devil may care type, this is something you don't find everywhere.

There is plenty of shopping if you like to browse through quaint little stores with
crafts and souveniors. Other historic places like Pigeon Forge are a short drive, so a week there easily allows you enough time to explore and take in the breath taking beauty of the great state of Tennessee.
